با توجه به عرضه نمایشگرهای جدید با رزولوشن 1920 در 1080 و قابلیتهای جدید دیگر ، پیش بینی میشود بزودی کاهش قیمتی در نمایشگرهای ال سی دی بوجود بیاید.

Due to new sales of monitors and TVs with resolutions of above 1920 x 1080 pixels, or other factors, research firm WitsView believes that prices will drop a bit.

Hopefully, this will actually affect final product tags, but I won't be holding my breath for that, since the difference will be low. Most likely, this will only help the companies who make and ship them.

32-inch screens will drop by around $1 / €0.76, while 39-inch and 42-inch ones will become $1-3 cheaper (€0.76 – 2.28).

Global notebook demand will reach 169.1 million in 2013, helping LCD panel sales even more than TVs and monitors will (probably). Sadly, the number is 8.6% lower on year.

To compound the problem, 18.5-inch screens will increase in price ($1 / €0.76 to $1.5 / €1.14).

Fortunately, monitors of that size make up a small share of the total market, otherwise the price drop would have been even more negligible.
