سی و چهار میلیون نسخه فروش Grand Theft Auto V تا کنون
سایت مرجعTake-Two Interactive, the parent company of developer Rockstar Games, announces that Grand Theft Auto V has shipped more than 34 million units to date.
The publisher has reported that the game shipped 33 million copies by the end of the previous quarter, which means that Rockstar's action adventure title moved around 1 million copies in the fiscal quarter that ended on June 30, 2014.
The number is impressive to say the least, but expected given the popularity of the franchise, and the figure is likely to greatly increase later this year, when the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of the game are scheduled to come out.
Developer Rockstar has mentioned that the new-gen version will ship with many visual and technical improvements over the last-gen console edition, delivering the most stunning GTA experience yet.
In addition to this, Grand Theft Auto V's PlayStation 4 edition is said to come with some yet unspecified exclusive features and content, in order to further draw fans toward Sony's console, which is already dominating the Xbox One, its main competitor.
Take-Two's financial report reveals that the company experienced only slight losses for the first quarter of its 2015 fiscal year, with its net revenue up in spite of the lack of major releases, still banking on Grand Theft Auto V, NBA 2K14 and Borderlands 2.
